Rocker Arm Adjusting Screw 22R ok heres the deal we are puting my buddies 22r back together after we got it back from the machine shop. It`s interesting how much box, and rebox is going on,& .I have a `94 22re with a stage 1 Toyota cam.. heard some other people on other un- ideal forums. I rotated the crank by hand and everything seemed to move like it should so I bit the bullet and put it back together... I know that some misalignment is normal, but I`m not sure how much.. rocker arm adjusting screw 22r On a few of the valves tips about 3/4 or so of the adjusting screw was making contact..well lets say "not my first choice for technical info" forum, .. did not find it in the fsm during the installation discussion or in the back of the book in the torque specification section either.Hello everyone, I got the 22re working and running, now that I have put a zero mile, brand new head on the motor, I need to do a valve adjustment and wanted to get a few tips and tricks to make sure I am doing it right.I set my rocker assembly on my new head and noticed the valve adjusting screws aren`t centered on the valves... i`m not sure it`s vital to do it in the right order, as long as the valve you`re adjusting isn`t under pressure from the rockers. here the problem we went to put the head on and noticed that the rockers don`t line up on a couple valves. I bet a quarter he was getting his rocker arms and adjuster screws through Altrom, almost everyone does, or if it was through ITM, or EPWI that`s where they get them from.what are the torque specifications for the 22re timing chain guides and tensioner
